Now that you are in Wealthy Girls Club (let’s call it WGC)….you are…..a Wealthy Girl. Period. I don’t care what’s in your bank account. You are a wealthy girl. Here’s the thing– there isn't a prerequisite tax bracket or bank account balance threshold required to be here, but there is a state of mind. You are claiming the energy that comes with an increase of aligned wealth—more choice, more freedom, more generosity, more luxury, more rest, more time spent on your terms. 

On my journey from $36,000 of debt and feeling like a broke girl to my core, to becoming a millionaire at 27 years old, one of the biggest lessons I learned is that a bank account growing won’t automatically change the way you think or feel about yourself. I became debt free and still didn’t feel like a wealthy girl. I saved eight months of expenses and still didn’t feel like a wealthy girl. I continued to invest, bought my first property, and still didn’t feel like a wealthy girl. It took working on my mindset with money to finally let go of my broke girl identity, and feel like a Wealthy Girl.

You know the saying “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”? Well, when it comes to money, the energy of the people around you will impact your finances. I can’t tell you how many times I have used my inner circle to get insight and advice on high levels of finance and business. I’m lucky to have best friends who are badass and talented in so many skills from commercial banking, real estate, entrepreneurship, and more. When I need insight, I look to spaces where I will be encouraged, supported, and challenged to play big. The last thing I want is for people to speak to my voice of fear and warn me to stay put. I know how impactful the circles you surround yourself with are, and how they impact your actual results.

Think of this monthly report as a happy hour with your Wealthy Girls Club inner circle--where you get excited to sit down and carve out time to level up your life and your finances. We want you to leave this happy hour thinking, "Oh my gosh, how did I not know this?!” Wealthy Girls Club gives you the inside scoop on all things money, and how to start adding luxury to your life right now. So don’t feel the need to rush reading through the report. Instead, make it intentional, flip through it like you would your favorite catalog throughout the month. Remember, this is now your inner circle. It's here to bring big ideas, encourage, inspire, and ultimately shape your inner voice of what you believe to be possible.

WEALTHY GIRLS PLEDGE

This report is designed to do three things: build your confidence, expand what you believe to be possible, and raise the vibe.

1. Build your confidence: sharing a term you may already know but gaining familiarity with it, seeing it used or implemented, double-checking accounts, confirming current knowledge, and building confidence around financial literacy. 

2. Expand what you believe to be possible: here’s the kicker- to expand what you believe to be possible, it could potentially trigger your sense of scarcity, jealousy, or thoughts of how others might perceive you. We will cover topics that might cause an immediate reaction of, “well, that could never be me” or “that’s out of my reach." It might feel out of your reach now, but we want to make higher-level ideas and luxuries more accessible so they do feel within your reach. One of the best ways for you to start imagining something is to feel in close proximity to it. Wealth doesn't have to be obnoxious, loud, or selfish. Many people make really good money but feel like they can't talk about it openly, because they don't want to make anyone else feel bad. But when that happens, we lose access to that wealthy person's insights. This report is for you to get access and proximity to wealth-building and wealth-builders. I challenge you to commit to seeing this report as an expander: the info we share as inspiration, as examples of others who have done it and as proof that it is possible for you too. We want you to build wealth so that you can do good, inspire, and lift others up at the same time. We want more money in your hands because not only are you going to create more luxury in your life (that you deserve), you're going to create good around you--and that matters too.

3. To raise the vibe: life is too short to be low vibe. Let’s go baby! 

Wealthy Girls Club aims to challenge you to learn, expand, grow, and play bigger. It’s designed to help you find clarity on what you want, and the deepest belief that you can have it. Wealthy Girls let themselves play with their full spectrum of emotions while simultaneously using them as ways to expand their realities. Feeling jealous of a success story we share? Great, that’s evidence you want that for yourself too. Feeling triggered about someone playing big? Great, what are ways you aren’t letting yourself live as freely? Everything is feedback. This is your space to play big without justifying your desires or watering down your ideas. We want them and we want them all. 

This month, we’re feeling all the luxe, romantic vibes, and our mood board reflects it. Mood boards (or vision boards) are such a fun way to spark inspiration, manifest your Wealthy Girl goals, and set the tone for the month ahead. It’s the equivalent of your best friend texting you asking what you're wearing to happy hour so she can match that vibe.

Wealthy Girls Club is all about constantly elevating– so of course we are going to break down strategies step by step for you to implement in your life. We want to make sure that you are not only slaying your financial goals, but working to eliminate the looming fear in the background saying, “Oh no what if I'm doing something wrong and don’t even realize it?!” Part of WGC is not only having finances on lock, but having the confidence and peace of mind that comes with being a Wealthy Girl.

This month’s focus strategy is checking to make sure your investment accounts are slaying for you, aka actually being invested. Because you don’t want to be putting cash into an investment account….only to find out that you transferred the money over, but never actually invested it. 

As an example, let’s show the power of this strategy: 

If you contributed $250/month into a target date retirement index fund that gave you an average of an 8% annual return, and did this for 40 years, you would have $805,269.

If you contributed that same $250/month to a settlement fund (essentially, checking account), and never actually invested the money, you would have $120,000. 

Making sure that your contributions are properly invested could be the difference of a cool $685,000. That’s a lot of martinis. Are you sure your money is invested?

Custodian account = the site your investment account is held on.

This example is shown from Vanguard-  this process might look a little different on different sites, but following these general steps should help you find this info.
