It’s 2026, and I am fucking stoked. I wish you could see into my brain just how insanely positive I am that every single thing I’m going after this year is going to happen. And I don’t believe that only for myself. Here is your warning to not come anywhere near me with a dream of yours that you’re going to doubt, play small with, or put off for later. Because I actually have hit a new level of belief in how vital it is for each of us to pursue our dreams. You thought I talked about going after your goals before this? Guard your loins, because I am ramping it up tenfold.
Is it clocking to you that this is your ONE life? Your ONE time on earth, and that probably not one other woman in your entire lineage had a fraction of the opportunities or rights that you have? Is it clocking to you that your grandmother likely couldn’t open up a credit card in her own name (without her husband or father) during her lifetime? Is it clocking to you that whatever real barriers are in your way or come up for a reason to doubt are so fucking insignificant compared to how powerful and capable you are?? If this clocks to you, then you’ll also be lighting your pitchfork right beside me and marching forward with how important it is that you show up for yourself this year and go and do the things that you want to do, despite what might come up and get in your way. And it starts with asking for what you want because you are the girl who gets exactly what she wants.
Circling back to your loins, it’s January, and I know some people like to do Dry January, but I want my January to be as wet as possible. We are taking the teaching to the bedroom this month and reminding ourselves that women who learn they are allowed to want things in the most intimate spaces of their lives, bring that energy into other spaces of their lives. You’re allowed to ask for what you want, and if you want your partner’s fingers inside of you tonight in the bedroom, ask for it. In the same exact fucking way that I want you to ask for that new opportunity at work.
Scared to ask? This is your one life. Your one experience on Earth? How dare you not get the orgasm you want? How dare you not get the sexual experience you want? How dare you not go after the opportunities you want? This is your life, your chance to get it all. So let’s get it.
How do you get it? I want you to think of one thing, it could be sexual, financial, job-related, whatever. Then, I want you to ask for it. If you’re a freak, then hell yeah, walk up to the person who can make it happen for you, look them right in the eyes, and tell them, “I want you to know, I want XYZ.” If you’re sweating just thinking about that, then let’s make a baby step this month and at least get your toes wet.
Your challenge this month (if you’re not up for challenge #1 of walking right up to the person and asking them for what you want) is to prep a conversation with a message. It could be sending your person of choice a hot text during the day, telling them, “I can’t stop thinking about your XYZ in my XYZ.” It could be sending an email to your boss saying, “I would love to talk more about this at our next one-on-one meeting, but I wanted to put a bug in your ear that long-term, I am incredibly interested in XYZ if there are any related opportunities that come up, I’d love to be considered or am open to any feedback on what you’d like to see in order to be considered.”
Do you know what increases your opportunities of getting what you want? Asking for it.
